We want to thank you for another year of wonderful memories!  We have enjoyed meeting some of you and sharing our treasures.  It makes no difference whether you are here just browsing our looking for a special gift.  We love having you visit our mall and seeing you enjoy a unique antique mall experience!  If you have never been here, make this a destination on your antiquing bucket list! Black Friday.....and Saturday..... and Sunday!

Today we are closed at South End Antique Mall so we can spend Thanksgiving time with our family.  We will be opening with a BANG on Friday!  It is the last sale of the year and we are prepared!  We have terrific Christmas decorating needs, gift ideas, and just plain old good coffee and cookies.  Everything in the mall is 10% off with some vendors offering even deeper discounts.  We also have a new vendor you MUST visit!  This vendor specializes in true antiques and has some beautiful things waiting in his booth.  His vendor number is #7425 and can be found in the upstairs area.   Take your Black Friday shopping trip to Aurora and visit us at South End Antique Mall.  Just off 99E going south out of Aurora.  The sale days are Friday – Sunday so hope to see you there!

Happy Thanksmas!!

  Happy Thanksmas! You know, that period of time between Halloween and New Year’s when we mush together Thanksgiving and Christmas. I suspect you are in one of two camps; refuse to decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving or off and running now! Whichever camp you fall into, we have seasonal treats for you.   It’s wonderful to include those old transferware platters on your Thanksgiving table.    They are beautiful and can be readily found.  You will find ironstone gravy boats, serving utensils, candlesticks, etc.  We have a wonderful selection of special items for all your entertaining needs.   If you are in the “Christmas” camp, our vendors have been stuffing their booths with terrific vintage pieces.  There is nothing wrong with making your holiday decorating plans in advance! Our entry has been transformed again into an old fashioned Christmas.  The Sleigh has arrived and the “Thanksmas” season has begun!   Make your plans now to stop by South End Antique Mall and check out the changes.

 

Special Shop Announcement!!

South End Antique Mall will be closed all day on November 1^st!  This will be a work day for our vendors as we change over to our holiday décor.  We have all been saving up our Thanksgiving and Christmas treasures all year long and this is the day we finally get everything in place.  If you like planning your holiday table settings, decorating ideas, gifts, etc., then stop by beginning November 2^nd for a real treat! 

Fall is Just Around the Corner

I’m really not one to “push” the holidays through the last quarter of the year, but, fall is upon us whether we like it or not! September 23^rd marks the first day of fall.  The vendors at South End Antique Mall have been busy bringing you some spectacular fall colors along with a “smidgen” of Halloween.  That fireplace hearth, dining table or door front is crying out for some fall color!  Don’t get left behind in your seasonal décor.   We don’t get those rich fall colors for long so make the most of your effort to change with the season!

New Quarter, New Decor!

Here we are in August already!  Our staff has been very busy changing out our entry for the new quarter.    This is a must see!  They have done an outstanding job of bringing in a vintage, rustic look for you to enjoy as you walk in the door.  Everything from the antique tool chest from an old Portland factory to the terrific industrial light fixtures have been brought out to create a new look for the entry.  Of course, this is just a small taste of what you will find as you wander through the mall.  If you have never visited before, do make it a destination!  We are not your “normal” antique mall but more of a casual shopping experience.  We have terrific eateries here in Aurora so make a date for lunch with a group of friends and make sure you stop by South End Antique Mall! 

Hot August Shopping!

August is the month to visit Aurora!  It all starts with First Friday in Aurora on 2^nd.  Many vendors stay open until 8:00 p.m. for late evening shopping and dinner out.  Next you will find Aurora Colony Days August 9^th & 10^th.  There will be a pancake breakfast, 5k run, Market in the Park, Downtown Sidewalk Sale and a parade.  So many more things I have not listed!  South End Antique Mall will open its parking lot for the last parking lot sale of the year!  The sale will run both Saturday and Sunday for extra shopping time.  Everything in the store and the parking lot will be priced at 10% off.  Many of the vendors offer even deeper discounts!  This is the time of year to “feed your passions”.  What makes your collectors heart beat faster?  We probably have it!  Mark your calendar now and visit us for the last parking lot sale of the year!
