Hot August Shopping!

August is the month to visit Aurora!  It all starts with First Friday in Aurora on 2^nd.  Many vendors stay open until 8:00 p.m. for late evening shopping and dinner out.  Next you will find Aurora Colony Days August 9^th & 10^th.  There will be a pancake breakfast, 5k run, Market in the Park, Downtown Sidewalk Sale and a parade.  So many more things I have not listed!  South End Antique Mall will open its parking lot for the last parking lot sale of the year!  The sale will run both Saturday and Sunday for extra shopping time.  Everything in the store and the parking lot will be priced at 10% off.  Many of the vendors offer even deeper discounts!  This is the time of year to “feed your passions”.  What makes your collectors heart beat faster?  We probably have it!  Mark your calendar now and visit us for the last parking lot sale of the year!

Our talented vendors have turned our entryway into a summer wedding fest!  Summer is wedding season and we have gathered some wonderful vintage touches ready for your next wedding venue.  Let’s face it; the wedding décor is all up to the bride and groom!  Take a few hours to stroll through the mall to look for special accents for your guest tables.  Those old “orphan” teacups (those that have lost their saucer) make terrific nut and mint cups!  We have a great selection of candle holders from funky to stylish crystal.  You will find beautiful silver plate bowls and trays for your cake table.  Lots to see so leave a lot of time to browse!

This is the sale you wait all year for! It's time for the South End Antique Mall Anniversary sale!  We are having the sale Saturday through Monday so lots of time to come and shop.  We open our parking lot and the field beside the mall for additional space full of treasures!  The entire store, inside and out, is 10% off.  Many of the vendors offer even deeper discounts!  We have everything from fine furniture to sweet little succulent planters.  There are some terrific garden and patio items waiting for you as well.  You won’t be disappointed!   Come and celebrate Memorial Day weekend with us and enjoy a cookie and a free cup of coffee!

First Friday in Aurora

May 3^rd marks the inaugural “First Friday” in Aurora. There will be 17 shops open for your weekend kickoff! You will find antiques, boutiques, wine tasting, appetizers, and music.  The stores will be open from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.  South End Antique Mall will be participating so be sure to stop by for coffee and cookies!  While you are here, start your Mother's Day shopping.  We have lots of trinkets and collectibles for the special woman in your life.  If you are not sure what to give, we do have gift certificates available! 

Spring, Sprang, Sprung!

However you want to pronounce it, it has finally arrived!  Who can resist the beautiful islands of daffodils popping up everywhere!  Not only is it spring outside, but inside South End Antique Mall as well.  Our vendors have been so busy gathering all the spring garden items they can find and bringing them into the mall for you to enjoy.  Everything from planters to garden furniture; even a new Easter bonnet!   Are you aware of “First Friday” in Aurora?
