Summer In Aurora

This is the weekend to be in Aurora!  It is time for Aurora Colony Days and that means that South End Antique Mall is having the last parking lot sale of the season.This is one of those sales you don’t want to miss!  Everything in the store (and in the parking lot) is on sale for 10% off.  Some vendors give even deeper discounts!  We are not your “normal” antique mall.  We are setup in such a way that your shopping experience is a casual stroll through a building full of treasures!   Collectibles, primitives, hardware and classic antiques are found at every turn.  We will be having the sale on Saturday and Sunday, August 11^th & 12^th.  Don’t miss the activities in downtown Aurora and in the park.  There will be a family friendly beer garden, a parade, a fun run, a car show and antique sidewalk sales.  Lots to do and see so make your weekend plans now!

Keeping It Interesting!

Changes again!  Our entryway has been transformed into a country barn!  If you love rusty, crusty and primitive you need to stop by and check out the new décor.  We change our entry every quarter in an effort to make your first step in the door interesting.  Our inventory is constantly changing so shopping at South End Antique Mall is always an adventure! August is a busy month for Aurora.  Watch for Aurora Colony Days August 10th - 13th!  Music, car shows, street sale, a beer garden and more.  Take time to wander down to South End Antique Mall August 11th and 12th where we will be in full swing with our last parking lot sale of the year!  The entire store is 10% off and that includes everything outside as well.  Great buys to be found so mark your calendar now!

Summer is definitely DIY time!  It is warm out and you can throw open the windows and doors and make some great changes!  Changing the look of your home does not have to be super expensive.  Just changing paint color, decorative touches, accessories, etc.  Making changes like this are so rewarding to both you and those who get to see the results.  Take time to wander South End Antique Mall for some great ideas on sprucing up your home, both inside and out.   Discover your “inner decorator”!

Happy Birthday To Us!!!

 Our little building has been around since 1919!  It has had many lives such as a bag factory, a pickle factory and a turkey hatchery.  They added the lower level of the building (where a lot of our antique mall spaces are located) in 1966 and the front entry and counter area in 1977.  Memorial Day weekend marks our 14^th birthday!  We always celebrate this in a big way and that is coming up this weekend!  Our vendors are already packing their treasures
into the mall.  The sale runs from Saturday through Monday so plenty of time to stop,  shop and have cookies and coffee.  Everything inside and outside the store is at least 10% off with many vendors giving even deeper cuts. We have many vendors setting up tents in the field next to the store so our inventory explodes!   Make sure you mark your calendar to stop by and wish us a happy birthday!
