We are just a few weeks into our “quarantine” and I have
been busy looking at projects I need to get done while I am not distracted by
things that take me away from home. As I
work on these little projects, it makes me happy to think I am “reusing”
something that looks a little tired instead of replacing it with something that
will not last nearly as long. Even if
you’re not a fan of the “chippy” look, just giving an old piece of furniture a
coat of paint or refresh the stain will make it seem new again! Take a stand against
our “disposable society” and start looking for ways to reuse what we have! Reinventing the use of something in a new way
pushes your creative self to think outside the box. The smallest item can
become a new look for décor and still be a functional, usable item! When we are able to open our doors to the
public again, come in and browse around to see what our very creative vendors
have done to use and reuse treasures!
